Happy Last Day of School!

We want to wish everyone a wonderful summer break. After this most unusual school year,  we are looking forward to returning to school in the fall. Staff will be hard at work throughout the summer preparing for a new school year. Be sure to check your email during the break, as we anticipate needing to communicate with you occasionally. Happy summer and congratulations to all our 2021 graduates!

If you need to contact us over the summer, please email Communications@srvusd.net.

All SRVUSD Families Need to Complete the Annual Update

Attention all SRVUSD Families! It is time to complete the 2021-22 Annual Update.

The Annual Update is a Districtwide process held each year in June to verify household and emergency contact information as well as complete annual release acknowledgement and permission requirements. All families are required to complete the Annual Update each year.

The 21-22 Annual Update Portal will open on a different date in June for each high school and its feeder middle and elementary schools. There is no need to complete the Update on the first day it opens. You have until the beginning of the 21-22 school year to complete the Update.

Opening Dates:

Monday, June 14th - San Ramon Valley High and its feeder middle and elementary schools

Tuesday, June 15th - Dougherty Valley High and its feeder middle and elementary schools

Wednesday, June 16th - California High and its feeder middle and elementary schools

Thursday, June 17th - Monte Vista High and its feeder middle and elementary schools

For a list of which schools are in the feeder pattern areas and for more information on the Update process, please visit: Annual Update FAQ

  • Anyone age 12 or older may go to one of these clinics to receive the COVID vaccine.

  • Anyone age 7 or older may go to one of these clinics to receive the Tdap vaccine

Both vaccines will be offered free of charge and you do not need to be a member of the school community to receive a vaccine at one of the school sites. All community members are welcome.

SRVEF 2021 Summer Imagineering On-Site classes at Gale Ranch MS and Stone Valley MS

The San Ramon Valley Education Foundation (SRVEF) is offering fun Imagineering Program classes this summer. They are offering classes for incoming 3rd - 6th graders, incoming 7th - 9th graders, and even a hands-on bio lab for incoming 10th - 12th graders who missed out on in-person labs last year. Are you ready for summer fun, STEAM learning, and reconnecting with your peers? If yes, then you will want to take a look at what SRVEF has to offer. Classes will run Monday through Friday from 9 am to 12 noon or 1 pm to 4 pm. Supervision and recess activities will be available for students registered for morning and afternoon sessions in the same week.

Classes are filling fast. Register now! Please contact us with any questions at imagineering@srvef.org

New Learning Management System for the 2021-22 School Year!

The SRVUSD is transitioning to Schoology, a comprehensive Learning Management System, for the 2021-22 school year.  Schoology is a tool for all grade levels that will be used to post class and course materials and curriculum, reports of student progress and grades, and will be the main communication tool between classrooms, students and families.

Schoology comes to us as a recommendation from a District exploration committee  that was made up of volunteers from all stakeholder groups. It was approved by the Board of Education and implementation has already started with our staff.

The adoption of Schoology means that as of June 30, 2021, School Loop will no longer be available and Google Classroom will no longer be in use for student-facing material.  The addition of Schoology will not affect our use of Infinite Campus' Parent Portal.

We will provide more information and training closer to the start of the new school year.
